The 2010 edition of the Buy Fresh Buy Local Food Guide reflects recent program initiatives of the Chester County Agricultural Development Council and introduces you to some of the farmers and organizations committed to bringing healthy, local food to the public. The Guide includes a list of almost 100 producers within the county and maps their locations to help you find their farm fresh products.

Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Association
The Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Association was organized and has been active since 1944. Meetings are held twice a year in or around State College, Pennsylvania. An American Dairy Goat Association sanctioned show is held each year by the PDGA. In conjunction with this show they sponsor a milking competition, have a pot-luck dinner, judging contest, raffle table and elect their new Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Association Youth Representative. The purpose of the Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Association is to promote the best interests of the dairy goat and her products through a state federation of individuals and associations.
